God is in the People Business, Rebekah Allen Having graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, I would rather study my textbooks and observe my bacteria cultures than talk to people. I don't like to do it, and I'm not very good at it. However, my God is not a silent God; He loves to visit people and speak to people. But He cannot visit people alone; He needs His people to go in Him and with Him to other people. While attending the Full-Time Training in Anaheim, I have recently been impressed in the books of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee that I need to love people, be interested in people and therefore care that they know the Lord Jesus. The Bible says, God desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). As one of His believers who has been filled with the riches of the Bible through the books of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, it is becoming my joy to go to people and tell them about the unsearchable riches of Christ (Ephesians 3:8). Even in the Full-Time Training I am learning how to talk to people and how to tell them about the Lord Jesus because here we are able to practice all the time. Whether on college campuses or at the teller's window at the bank, people need Jesus Christ. I am learning what a joy it is to tell people about this Wonderful One and how they can enjoy and experience Him! Since my God is in the people business, I am learning to be in the people business, too. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites. All Rights Reserved |
